Christian Gunn-Schinker

Biography

Christian Gunn-Schinker focuses her practice in the areas of intellectual property, family law and estate planning. Prior to joining Gunn Kieklak Dennis, LLP, she worked for an intellectual property law firm for nearly six years before joining The Gunn Firm, LLC in 2012 where she served as of counsel.

Christian’s intellectual property practice has a particular emphasis on domestic and foreign trademark matters, including client counseling, prosecution of applications, infringement claims and licensing agreements.  Christian counsels her clients on availability, protection and proper use of trademarks, both domestic and international. She has prepared and prosecuted both state and federal trademark applications, and she has handled multiple infringement, opposition, cancellation and licensing matters.  Christian has had the opportunity to assist multiple individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations and educational institutions with a variety of interesting and challenging trademark matters.  She has prepared and filed hundreds of federal and state trademark applications and has been attorney of record in a number of trademark infringement lawsuits and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings.

Christian also has experience in family law and she concentrates particularly on adoption, guardianship and divorce proceedings as well as visitation, custody and support matters. Christian further provides many of her clients with assistance in preparing wills and trusts and offers advice regarding certain areas of estate planning.
